Tags missing after "reload tags" in Rekordbox

My Rekord Buddy Version: 2.0.22(217)

My OS Version: Mac OS High Sierra

Steps required to reproduce the problem:

  1. “Release date” tag, wen’t missing for some files.
  2. In Rekordbox, I selected all and choose “reload tags”.
  3. 95% of all the tags i made in Rekord Buddy disappeared from my collection.

What I expected to happen: That the “release date” tags would be shown again.

What actually happens instead: 95% of my tags is missing (deleted)

Reload tags will load the release dates found in the music files themselves. This could be different values that the ones that Rekord Buddy read from your collection (say from Traktor for example) since some programs don’t sync that data to the file when it’s modified, they only update their internal value (which Rekord Buddy reads).

So, as long as the value was correct before you did the reload tags, this is normal behavior and is cause by rekordbox re-reading the value from the file (amongst other values too since I believe reload tags reloads everything).
