2.1.4 crash, drag and drop give not same drive error, Why?

My Rekord Buddy Version:
My OS Version:
Steps required to reproduce the problem:
Drag Serato playlist to rekord buddy play list

“Some of the crates contains tracks that are not on the same volume as the destination collection.”

  1. List item

What I expected to happen:
With old version Same drive or not it works. I don’t have time to move all my files and playlist to whatever drive rekord buddy needs. I use rekord buddy to save time.

Is there any links for me to use old version which don’t crash everytime and with sync button?
It really is my fault to update to new version before going a gig. :frowning:
What actually happens instead:

I found out that right click on rekord buddy collection will give new collection for drive 2.
But when I drag and drop serato playlist to rekord buddy new collection it crash

Try to update to te latest build (2.1.5) and let me know if that works for you.

Did you get a real crash or a ‘Something wonderful has happened’?

It was ‘Something wonderful has happened’, not straight out crash.
2.1.8 is working fine for me, Serato -> Rekord Buddy -> Rekordbox xml

now I’m updating to 2.1.10
(Golden rule, never update software/OS before gigs

As a side note, you can drag and drop straight from Serato to rekordbox if you want.

Yes, drag and drop stright to rekordbox is working and very handy. Thank you.
And also, I welcome the subscription payment system because it guarantees that the app will be updated regularly for long term. Cheers.

I love positive feedback! Thank you!

OK, I need help. I just got this software yesterday and I got this message. " This collection contains tracks that are not on the same volume as the destination collection.

I’m going from Traktor 3.2.1 to Serato DJ Pro vastest version. Nothing moved. Not sure what I do next

Serato requires its tracks to be on the same drive as the collection. Check out the online manual (in the help menu). In the Serato section of the manual it explains how to create a Serato collection on that drive so that you can then copy your tracks to that collection in Rekord Buddy and not the collection on the home drive.

Thanks Damien. That set me on the right track.
Copied the playlists over once I added them to Serato first.
